Back to back museum blogs? You betcha! In last week’s article, I highlighted Cross Cut: Folk Songs of Early Ontario, an exhibit recently launched at the Museum of Lennox & Addington in Napanee. If you didn’t have a chance to read about it yet, take a look here.

Since then, the hard-working folks at the Museum have assembled yet another fun display that visitors can explore. Also hitting on the music theme, The Beat Goes On takes you on “a nostalgic journey through the universal language of music” using instruments and items curated from the museum collection as well as stories assembled from the archives. Together, the displays tell the unique story of music through the years here in Lennox & Addington. Museum staff hopes the exhibit will strike a chord with visitors. See what I did there?

This interesting exhibit is on display now through the summer. The Museum of L&A is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm. Learn more about this fun exhibit and other things happening at the Museum here.
