While camping isn’t available at Bon Echo Provincial Park until May, visitors are welcome at this wonderful natural treasure during the winter for day use… for free!
Go for a hike, walk the dog, or if conditions allow, cut a trail with your snowshoes or cross-country skis. By looking at this fantastic photo from the Friends of Bon Echo, I think we can all agree that the view of Mazinaw Rock is stunning all year long.
As you pass through Cloyne, stop Greystones in the City at Finnegan’s General Store. They offer all kinds of great Bon Echo merch, just like they have at the gift shop!
For those of you that would rather wait for warmer weather to visit the park, in 2024 they are open for camping from May 10th to October 20th. You can reserve a site up to 5 months in advance, so as of late January you can book a spot up to the end of June.
