Downtown Napanee has always been a hotbed for homegrown small businesses, providing a broad mix of products and services for their customers. Things look great in 2023, with storefronts full of interesting shops, restaurants, bakeries and service providers.

For many years, Dundas Street in particular has been the go-to destination for the best that the downtown has to offer. Businesses stalwarts like April’s Image, Starlet, Milady’s Lace, Ellena’s Cafe, Sand N’ Sea, A Touch of Class Fashions and The Loaf N Ale (and many more) continue to attract both locals and visitors from out of town.

Some may not realize, but the ‘off-Dundas’ businesses are pretty exciting in their own right. Some of them have been around a long time, while others are quite new. Combined, all the businesses in the downtown complement each other quite nicely.
