The Geocaching community has enjoyed events in Lennox & Addington since 2011. Thousands of cachers from across Canada, the United States, Europe and beyond have attended our events, and many return annually to join in the fun. We invite you to visit our wonderful community, meet up with your geocaching friends and meet new cachers for an unforgettable geocaching experience.

Block Party Itinerary

What will you discover?

Our MEGA traditions continue!

When you attend our event you’ll have a chance to earn a ton of great geocaching items, including: a MEGA Icon, a Community Event Icon, a CITO Icon, a Regular Event Icon, an Adventure Lab Icon, and an International Geocaching Day Souvenir. Find a variety of geocaches, including: Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox Hybrids, Virtuals and more!

Another opportunity for geocachers to meet up, this time early in the morning. The location is not far from the ferry to Amherst Island, which home to lots of great caches.

Ferry leaves from the mainland on the half hour.

Meet up with your fellow geocachers and receive a Community Celebration icon!

Lennox & Addington is home to the most southerly dark sky site in Ontario. Weather permitting, enjoy a laser guided tour of the night sky and take a look through a telescope at various celestial objects at the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

Looking to get out on the water?! On Friday, explore a cache-filled shoreline! Bring your own vessel, or if you don’t have one we’ll have a limited assortment available closer to the event date.

The annual Kick-Off Party is taking place at the Museum of Lennox & Addington in Napanee. Catch up with old friends, make some new ones, get your photo taken with Signal, and get primed for an amazing weekend of geocaching. Admission is free!

L&A graciously allows us to play the Geocaching game in their County so why not give a bit back to the community by doing a little clean up? We supply the bags and get rid of the trash. You bring gloves.

Water Cache Canoe & Kayak Cruise
Search the shoreline of the Napanee River

Looking to get out on the water at the Block Party! On Friday, August 14th at 10am, we’ll have a limited assortment of vessels available for our annual Water Cache Canoe & Kayak Cruise!

Booking for kayak & canoe rentals will be available in the spring/early summer (while quantities last).

Rough camping available in Adolphustown
Stay longer & book a non-serviced site at the UEL Campground

There are so many geocaches in L&A it’s impossible to find them all in one day. Extend your stay! We have many great hotels, motels and B&Bs to choose from. 

Camping is once again available at UEL Heritage Park, 54 Park Road in Adolphustown. The cost is $15.00/night/adult for dry camping over by the heritage centre. If you are booking actual sites, you required to pay regular site fees. All reservations can be made by emailing camping@uel.ca or calling 613-373-2196.
