A pretty little hamlet
This cozy community is just a short jaunt from Napanee.
Quiet and rural while still being close to larger centres is what makes Strathcona such an appealing community to live in. It is also home to Strathcona Paper, who manufactures boxboard and is one of Lennox & Addington’s major employers.
- Cataraqui Trail – Running from Strathcona to Yarker, this is a year-long, shared use recreation trail. Everyone from hikers to cyclists to snowmobilers enjoy the nature views and wildlife that you can discover in this area.
- Strathcona Paper Centre – This arena hosts local sporting events and is available to rent ice time or book a lounge. There are also open skate times (seasonally).
