Take a trek through an orchard and see how much sweeter the fruit is when you pick it yourself. Not only is this a fun way to spend a day but it’ll also help foster love of nutrient-rich food in your kids. Depending on the time of year our farms are open for the picking for everything from strawberries, raspberries, apples, pumpkins and more.
Many of our area orchards have family events happening during peak times so plan your day and make it extra fun. In a hurry, just grab a bushel or basket that’s been pre-picked and you won’t miss out on the sweetness that local and fresh provide.

At Wynn Farms, taking care of the orchard is a family affair.
Stop in for apples or flowers and get lost and find fun in the corn maze.
Come and pick your own apples! Say hello to the 4 beautiful horses and depending on the time of year, even go for a pony ride.
Janssens Orchards is a family farm business, operated by Mike and Marion. Their passion is apples, especially the varieties of our forefathers.
Love strawberries and raspberries? You have found your place! Take a wagon ride to the picking area or choose some already picked yummy and fresh berries.
Pick something a little different at Berries by the Bay in Conway. Every year in late June, pick your own delicious Saskatoon and Haskap berries.
