Our scenic roads have ample curves, rolling hills and lots of twists! Our routes take you through many charming rural communities, with each offering plenty of places to stop and take a break.

L&A County is the perfect place for your next driving adventure. Our pre-planned routes take you through many charming rural communities, with each offering plenty of places to stop and take a break.

Just hop on your bike and enjoy! If you’re a ride captain, organize outings with friends, or a ‘lone wolf’ that just loves hitting the open road, our route itineraries make your visit to L&A County nice n’ easy

The itineraries provide a detailed map of the highlighted route and show the secondary roads if you want to chart your own course. On the back, it gives you turn-by-turn directions, where the service stations are, lodging options along the route, and suggests some fun places to stop along the way.

Each specific route is highlighted and is in a compact PDF that you can print from home… an easy grab from your saddlebag.

A: The Rural Drive
Length: 87 km

The Rural Drive” takes travellers through the Lennox & Addington communities of Newburgh, Camden East, Yarker, Colebrook, Moscow, Enterprise, Tamworth, Erinsville, Roblin, Selby and Napanee. Each community has something special to offer its visitors. Drivers of this route will view picturesque rural landscapes dotted with century old homes, barns and actively-farmed land.

B: The Shoreline Drive
Length: 114 km

The Shoreline Drive” begins along the shore of Hay Bay and the Bay of Quinte. Travel past cottages and campgrounds and along the shore of some of the best Walleye fishing in North America. Take note of the breathtaking blend of rural settings that overlook the beautiful waterways. Drivers continue south to the Loyalist Parkway to the uniquely historic village of Bath before heading back to Napanee.

C: The Empire Loyalist Drive
Length: 98 km

Long before we ever considered touring in this region, the United Empire Loyalists walked the beautiful countryside. Farmland, apple orchards, and vineyards now dominate “The Empire Loyalist Drive” as you glimpse our past through a number of historical sights. Riders will pass through the communities of Adolphustown, Conway, Sandhurst, Bath, Amherstview, Odessa and Napanee.

D: The Farming Drive
Length: 97 km

“The Farming Drive” takes travellers through the Lennox & Addington communities of Newburgh, Camden East, Yarker, Wilton and Napanee. This route provides picturesque farmland, quaint towns, charming villages, and natural beauty to make this route a memorable experience.

E: The Shield Drive
Length: 186 km

“The Shield Drive” acquaints riders with the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield in Addington Highlands. This route takes you through and past Bon Echo Provincial Park, and you can tell your friends about stops along the way like Denbigh, Vennachar, Cloyne, Northbrook and Flinton.

F: The Transition Drive
Length: 101 km

Witness the landscape change when touring “The Transition Drive.” While the southern portion of this route features working farms, wetlands and limestone outcroppings, as you travel north your surroundings change dramatically. Spectacular views of granite and evergreens begin to dominate as you enter the southern edge of the Canadian Shield. This route is particularly scenic when the leaves begin their autumn transformation.
