When you attend our MEGA Celebration you’ll have a chance to earn a ton of great geocaching items, including: a MEGA Event Icon, a Locationless Cache Icon, a Community Event Icon, a CITO Icon, a Regular Event Icon, an Adventure Lab Icon, and an International Geocaching Day Souvenir. You can meet Signal (our friendly mascot) and find a variety of geocaches, including: Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox Hybrid, Virtual and more!
Lennox & Addington County is home to the most southerly dark sky site in Ontario. Weather permitting, enjoy a laser guided tour of the night sky and take a look through a telescope at various celestial objects at the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area. (7980 County Road 41, Erinsville)
Looking to get out on the water at the 2022 Discover L&A County MEGA Geocaching Event! On Friday, August 19th at 10am, explore the Napanee River shoreline! Bring your own vessel, or if you don’t have one we’ll have a limited assortment available (while quantities last). Book now!
If/when we sell out of our supply, contact Riverbank Rentals. Harley may have a kayak or SUP for you to rent.
The annual MEGA Kick-Off Party is taking place at the L&A County Museum & Archives in Napanee. Catch up with old friends, make some new ones, get your photo taken with Signal, and get primed for an amazing weekend of geocaching. Admission is free!
8am – 4pm: Leave your mark in the log book, say hi to Signal and pick up information packages that detail fun geocaching activities taking place during the weekend. The event venue is open and staff are available all day to answer your questions. Drop in anytime for a coffee or share geocaching stories. Games, draws and activities will be available throughout the day.
9am – 4pm: Head to all corners of Lennox & Addington County for some world-class geocaching. Choose from more than 1,500 geocaches in L&A County, or try your hand at some of the many new caches that will be published just in time for the event!
4 – 5pm: After a fun day exploring L&A County, head back to the event venue for your chance to win an amazing assortment of prizes, hear closing remarks, and say ‘cheese’ for the popular group photo.

This trackable item is a perfect keepsake to remind you of your Lennox & Addington geocaching adventure… or, you can place it in a geocache and perhaps watch it travel on a worldwide adventure.
Purchased coins will be available for pickup at the Discover L&A County Mega Geocaching event on Saturday, August 20th.
Looking to get out on the water at the 2022 Discover L&A County MEGA Geocaching Event! On Friday, August 19th at 10am, we’ll have a limited assortment of vessels available for our annual Water Cache Canoe & Kayak Cruise!
Book now and pay at the event ($10 per vessel, cash only please). You’ll enjoy paddling the Napanee River, and will love the new geocaches too! If you have your own watercraft, bring it along and take part in the fun (it’s free!).
There are so many geocaches in L&A it’s impossible to find them all in one day. Extend your stay! We have many great hotels, motels and B&Bs to choose from.
