Over 200 years of farming, and now they grow their own hops, wheat, and malting barley and brew with it in a renovated century barn on the same property. They call them “estate” beers, and that is not a stretch when the ingredients come from the fields you can see from the taproom. The brewery has become an anchor for the #DrinkLocal movement in Ontario, and every summer the property opens up for the Back to the Farm festival, which pulls together agriculture, live music, and craft beer in a way that feels like the farm was always meant for it.
