Folktales with Lynn Torrie

This March break, escape into the magic and wonder of fairy tales, with storyteller Lynn Torrie at the Museum. Did you know that Jack did more than just climb a beanstalk? Have you heard of the girl that outsmarted a bear? Enjoy ancient stories of action and adventure, told with rhythm, repetition, gestures and a chance to join in. This program will delight children aged 4-12 years of age and is fun for the whole family.

Time 1: 11:00AM – 11:45AM
Time 2: 1:00PM – 1:45PM

Demographic: Everyone welcome (recommended for children ages 4-12)

No pre-registration is required.

About Lynne Torrie:

Lynn Torrie is a Toronto storyteller with a passion for traditional folk tales and Canadian history. Her original adaptations have been told at festivals, schools, museums and online. When not telling stories herself, she teaches workshops in storytelling and coaches emerging tellers. She is a member of the York storytelling Guild and a regular host at Storytelling Toronto’s Storytent.
