The Centre for Workforce Development in Belleville is conducting its annual EmployerOne Survey from January 4 to February 26, 2021. More details are below.

 

Who should fill in the survey?

All businesses and organizations, large and small located in Hastings, Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington.

What’s in it for me?

Win-win! Send in your survey (it only takes 10 minutes or less!) and you can win one of eight $100 local shopping gift certificates, awarded weekly from Jan. 4 to Feb. 26. A $250 “Shop Local” grand prize will be drawn from all completed survey responses sent in by Feb. 26.

How will the survey results improve my business and community?

Survey results will provide the necessary information to provide skills training programs needed for local employment, strengthen the local economy and help retain skilled workers in the area.

“There are direct benefits to businesses: the results provide essential data about local workforce needs that will allow Workforce Planning Boards to support businesses with the right types of skills development.” says Matt Caruana, Project Coordinator for Workforce Development.

Who will receive the survey results?

The EmployerOne Survey results will be shared with the Ontario Government, educators, employment support agencies, economic developers and industry associations so that new programming accurately addresses occupational shortages, skills in demand and professional development requirements.

Go to www.employeronesurvey.com for the survey. Make your business voice heard and provide valuable feedback for workforce planning and skills development in our local communities.
