Improvements to the site  include:

  1. An expanded concrete platform to allow more space for telescope and camera setup,

  3. Solar power installation for visitors requiring power to operate telescope and camera equipment.
  4. A large telescope and presentation equipment was also purchased to improve upon our various stargazing events.

This is the first major construction project undertaken at the Dark Sky Viewing Area since opening in August 2013. Over the past decade, the site has grown to become one of the top tourist destinations in Lennox & Addington.
