Mark and Cole Youmans from Salmon River Sugar Bush are hard at work this spring on their 160-acre property near Tamworth, Ontario.
With 2,000 trees tapped in 2025, they have a goal of creating 4,000 litres of delicious maple syrup, boiled over a traditional wood-fired evaporator. Salmon River’s products include maple sugar, maple-garlic seasoning, maple butter, maple vinegar, maple candies and of course, 100% pure maple syrup.
This year, Salmon River Sugar Bush will be set up at over 200 markets across Ontario. You’ll also find their products at their farm gate, located at 180 Gilmore Road in Tamworth, and in stores throughout Lennox & Addington and beyond.
