Agriculture is the central focus to all activities happening at Ripplebrook Farm in Napanee. Well, except on Saturday, August 26th from 9am – noon… when it’s all about BREAKFAST.

Kevin MacLean and the crew at Ripplebrook Farm is hosting hundreds of hungry visitors at Breakfast on the Farm, a unique on-farm dining experience. Presented by Farm Food Care Ontario, the morning features an all-Ontario breakfast, interactive educational displays, an opportunity to meet the farmers, family photo-ops and a tour of this working Ontario farm.

Tickets are a $5 deposit per person, which is returned after attendance. Each ticket includes a breakfast sandwich, milk and fruit. Dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available.

Agriculture runs deep in the MacLean family. When you include Kevin’s grandkids, Ripplebrook Farm is a 5th generation farm, as Kinsley (age 4) and Hank (2) have already taken a liking to the animals and equipment.

With 130 milking cows milked three times daily in their modern free-stall dairy barn, the site is always a hub of activity. The farm is also home to 150 heifers & calves, as well as seven show-winning quarter horses. Alfalfa, barley, wheat, corn and soybeans crops are grown on over 900 acres of land.

They’re looking forward to opening their farm gates and providing visitors with an opportunity to chat with farmers, take a tour of their farm, and learn more about the farming community.
