I’m the type of person who is always in the mood for a sweet treat, and because of this I’ve become quite acquainted with Lennox & Addington’s wonderful bakery options.
I know I’m not alone in my love of baked goods, so I thought it would be fun to put together a list of bakery locations in L&A County! When I’m craving a treat, these locations are always my go-to.

Bread & Butter Bakery
376 Main Street, Bath
Located in the heart of Bath is the Bread & Butter Bakery. With plenty of delicious baked goods, there is a treat for everyone here! Enjoy your pastry on the back patio, in the beautiful indoor seating area, or by the water at Bath Centennial Park just down the street. Shop around for other local goods they have for sale while visiting.
Bakery and Bistro Spot
37 Dundas Street East, Napanee
Downtown Napanee is lucky to have the wonderful Bakery and Bistro Spot. The baking is based on the community’s beloved recipes that have been used for nearly 75 years, so you can trust they know what they’re doing. There are dozens of wonderful baked goods ready for you to enjoy. They also offer a European touch with their bistro that features sandwiches, soups, and more savory options.
Butter My Buns Bakery & Cafe
166 Richmond Blvd, Unit B, Napanee
Butter My Buns Bakery & Cafe recently moved to a new location in Napanee, but the baking is just as spectacular. This bakery specializes in French pastries that you’ll instantly fall in love with. They also offer fresh bread, buns, and lunch options. Enjoy a delicious treat made in-house to perfection.
Ellena’s Café
16 Dundas Street East, Napanee
No visit to Downtown Napanee is complete without a visit to Ellena’s Cafe. Ellena Fleury and her fantastic team specialize in hand-made, small-batch baking. They offer a wonderful variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and specialty coffee. They also have an amazing selection of craft beer and wines as well as a very eclectic kitchen shop.
Abrams Bakery
422 Main Street, Newburgh
Abrams Bakery has been providing perfectly made baked goods to L&A County since 2013 and has only gotten better. They offer lots of delicious pastries made the old-fashioned way. On top of the wonderful baked goods, they have bread, sandwiches, and pizzas. When I visited, I got a mini blueberry pie. Pro tip from Abrams Bakery: if you never put the fork down, technically it’s only one slice.
Front and Centre Bakery
2068 County Road 1, Newburgh
Grab a sweet treat at Front and Centre Bakery! This peanut and tree nut free bakery is famous for their mouth-watering butter tarts. Their menu also features brownies, squares, cookies and custom-printed goodies. Delicious scones and other products are featured each week at their shop. Stop by soon to try this amazing bakery!
The Blue Door Bakery & Café
5 Concession Street South, Tamworth
Whitney and her team at The Blue Door Bakery & Café offer a wonderful selection of bars, tarts, cakes, and more. Everything is made with care and to perfection. If you’re looking for something more to eat, check out their amazing daily specials, and have a sweet treat for dessert. You really can’t go wrong with a pastry from this location!
The Black Cat Café
5 Ottawa Street, Tamworth
The Black Cat Café in Tamworth is the perfect place to stop for something delicious. From tasty sandwiches and fresh coffee to irresistible homemade sweets, there’s plenty to tempt your taste buds. Mama Bear Micro Bake Shop
