In the summer, I find myself constantly researching new adventures to try in order to make the most of the beautiful weather. Ever since moving to Lennox & Addington, I’ve found this process to be 100x easier.
One summertime location I will never skip is Wynn Farms Flower Fields. Located at 9592 Loyalist Parkway in Adolphustown, this is one of the most fun experiences I’ve had here so far this year. I’m sure that by the end of this blog – if you aren’t already – you’ll be planning your visit!
Here is some insight into my exciting trip so you’ll know what to expect when you visit.
I was first welcomed by the wonderful staff, and Sarah Wynn herself, who directed me where to go, how to make a bouquet, and provided me with everything needed to pick flowers.
After getting all of the helpful, information I needed, I walked down to one of 3 sunflower fields. Each field is at a different point of growth to ensure there is always a field ready for pictures throughout the season!
While the sunflowers are fantastic in their own right, each of the fields include props that make for a perfect photo op.

Next, I headed to the cutting garden where I got right to work making my bouquet. At the start I was provided with scissors for cutting and a jar to hold the flowers I collected during my visit.
I was a bit nervous at first because I am most definitely not a florist, but I quickly found out that it doesn’t really matter. What’s fun about making your own bouquet is that every collection looks beautiful and unique, especially with the expertly grown selection of flowers available.

Being out in the sun picking flowers made for a hot time, but this was quickly fixed when I got back to the barn. A Kawartha Dairy ice cream cone and a Smashed Lemonade put the spring back in my step.
The Smashed Lemonade is made with fresh lemons and is absolutely delicious! They have several flavours available, including classic lemonade, watermelon, blue raspberry and peach. Top it off with some cotton candy and gummy bears for even more sweetness.

I hope you have as much fun as I did during your next visit!
Keep an eye out for the events Wynn Farms Flower Fields hosts throughout the season, like their bouquet making workshops and their Sunflower Festivals that include face painting, a bouncy castle, pick-your-own sunflower, and much more!

Check out Wynn Farms website for more information about pricing and special events happening during the season. You can also stay updated on their apple orchard, scheduled to open on August 16th!
